INT at the USER! Conference

The annual USER! Conference is a 4-day meeting of scientists, business representatives, book publishers and other R users and fanatics. For those of you who think R is a letter of the alphabet: you are absolutely right. It is however, also a very versatile programming language. The R language has been around for quite a while, but it is gaining users rapidly over the past 5 years. R is open source, there is a huge amount of packages available and it has a very active user community. This makes R popular, which was also shown by the number of attendants at  USER! Brussels 2017, which was >1100. This year's edition was helt in Brussels, Belgium from July 4 to 7.

INT researcher Teunis and colleague investigator Lankhaar participated in the USER! Conference. The conference consisted of many useful tutorials and talks and we also presented a poster.
